Here is a look on how I spend 6 Days / 5 Nights in the state of Western Australia.
Overall spending (exclude air tickets): AUD838.67 (SGD838.67) per person. There is no currency exchange rate difference when I was there in June 2022 period. Transport cost include car rental and fuel for the car which were spilt among 5 pax.
Major towns visited on this itinerary: Perth , Busselton, Margaret River , Pemberton, Albany, Northam, Pinnacles , Cervantes, Geraldton.
If one follow the itinerary exactly to the time indicated, this can be done but it will be rushing for some. As I did this in winter, where sun tend to set earlier at 5.15pm, some of the drive towards final destination of the day were done under the moonlight. I would strongly recommend most of the driving to be done before the night kicks in. Having said that, as Western Australia occupies such a huge land mass and to visit the highlights of what Western Australia can offer within 6 days, this is one of a more comprehensive itinerary. Well done I wana go
Hi, able to share which hotels for your itinerary?
Plan to go either during Xmas 2024 or CNY 2025
Would like to follow your itinerary 😀
Hi Eileen,
For the hotels wise, there are plenty of hotels in those area been to. There is no particular hotel which stands out. Thus, I would recommend going to the usual hotel online website to check out the review and book a suitable hotel at your price point you are comfortable in.
Great to hear you will be heading there soon, have fun in Western Australia!
Cheers

How many total kilometres did you drive? And on average, how many hours did you drive per day? We will be a family doing a road trip. So want to understand what to expect.
Hi Krishti,
If you refer to my Perth Itinerary, on average, it will be around 350km daily. It mean drive time of around 4.5 hours.
Some days might end later when you reach to your accommodation around 7pm, which the sky will turn dark (Winter esspecially) depending on your travel season.
Cheers
