Arriving into Chengdu early in the morning, I got only 10 hours before catching a train to Lhasa. Exploring the capital of Sichuan, Chengdu is a modern city with pleasant gardens and tea houses being commonly found. Should you have more than 2 days in Chengdu, one would visit the main tourist attraction which includes visit to giant pandas, Leshan Giant Buddha and Jiuzhaigou Valley.
However, if you have only that limited time just like me, below would be a great guide to discover what Chengdu city offers.
Wenshu is the goddess of Wisdom and this is where the busy Chan Buddhist Temple is dedicated to Wenshu. One would be able to witness the bustling tea houses in Wenshu Yuan. This temple is located in the center of Chengdu City, making it high accessible.

After visiting Jinli street, the next stop would be the Kuan Valley. Take bus #57 (Cost: 1 Yuan) to travel between each other.
4. Kuan, Zhai, Jing Alley
This is one of the top three historic preserve districts in Chengdu City. It is formed by three alleys called Kuan Alley (Wide Alley), Zhai Alley (Narrow Alley), and Jing Alley.
