The hotel is located in the area of Katong, eastern side of Singapore that is only 13km away from Changi Airport.
With rooms going as low as SGD182 per night, the stay is certainly worth more than it seems.
The lobby at Hotel Indigo itself is like an exhibit of how the Peranakans live (descendants of Chinese immigrants who came to the Malay archipelago). What caught my eye or rather everyone attention was how classy the decorations are which blends prefectly with the ambience.
Rooms
When one enter the rooms, simply get ready be blown away with the amazing art wall and the interior Peranakan furnitures. One will recall the good old memories of using the cups, basin but at the same time it integrates new technology into the room.
The toilet are simply so inviting as well, I could even sleep there for the entire night if not for the comfortable beds they have. In particular, they have a seperate area for bathing.
Katong Area
The hotel is located next to shopping centres with cinemas, old fashion houses, laid back cafes, delicious food outlet all within the area. There is simply so much things to do in this part of Singapore.
If you are tired from all the walking, come back to the room and soak your tired legs into the basin with essential oil provided in the room.
