Yes, that is right, I did my staycation at a boutique hotel in Singapore. The first thing people think of on hotel is the 5 stars rated ones like Marina Bay Sands, Fullerton Hotel. Truly, these are great hotels but there are many equally fantastic smaller scale hotels that we have yet to discover.
Welcome to Nuve Elements Hotel, part of the Nuve Group which has a collection of curated hotels that embraces the local culture while providing an iconic lifestyle hospitality for modern season travellers.
Location:
Just a 3 minutes walk away from Clarke Quay MRT train station, Nuve Elements sits at the fringe of Singapore Central Business District within the vicinity of Singapore vibrant nightlife at Clarke Quay area. A throw stone away from famous landmarks such as Chinatown and well stocked restaurants that can tenderize your taste buds within reach along the Boat Quay area, the hotel location mixes business, food, culture all in one place.
The location makes it an ideal spot for morning run. From the hotel to Esplanade area is around 2km each way, making it an enjoyable run with plenty of scenic to take in. Suggest to start running from hotel at 6.35am , so you will be in time to catch sunrise around 6.50am.
Food:
With central mall located 2 minutes away, there is a wide range of Japanese food. Boat Quay area offers those who are into western dinning. Right along the street where the hotel is located (Hong Kong Street), one can find fusion of Chinese & Western cuisine.
When it comes to breakfast, as Nuve Elements Hotel do not have a cafe, the breakfast is prepared by outside caterer. A simple call between 8am-10am would see the staff deliver hot pipping breakfast to your door step in a bento set.
Facilities:
Certainly, this is a small boutique hotel, so do not expect much offerings. I am glad that they do have a rooftop terrace to enjoy the cool night out over beers and I also pamper myself with hot tub jacuzzi.
Overall Stay:
Comfortable! Clean! Convenient!
Bed was super comfy and they do have a choice of bunk bed or double bed. Choose double bed thou for rooms size would be bigger.
