Here is a snapshot of the itinerary I had done up and embark on this Eastern Europe Trip.
Due to the limited time I had, the first few days in Budapest and Ljubljana does involve a lot of walking. If you do have more time to spare, it is advisable to spend 1 more night in Budapest and spread the activity over 2 days to complete.
The common question that people tend to ask is when would be the best time to visit Hungary? Do note that June- August (summer vacation) is the peak period, which mean hotel & airfare to Europe are at the highest. Perhaps, you would want to avoid this period. The best time to visit Hungary is in spring and autumn where there are lesser crowds. For more information, you can always visit the link here to find out more on the best time to visit!
