Hello, for the tasmania trip, which car rental company did you used? Thank you.
Hi Si Min,
It was Hertz Car rental in Tasmania because I took the ferry from Melbourne to Launceston , gateway point to Tasmania.
You can find out cheaper and comparable car rentals via rentalcar connect mobile application/websites for more cost savings!
Make full use of the early bird discount or vouchers code.

Hi!
What a great blog and lovely pictures too! Thanks for sharing! We will be there in Nov 4A2C and also self srive and will start from Launceston to Hobart then doing the last leg in Melbourne before flying back to Sin.
We only have a few days from 19 Nov arriving afternoon in Launceston so will stay ther 1 night. Am wondering with these few days whether we are able to cover Cradle Mountain and around like Deloraine, Moles Creek, Sheffield. Then also to Coles Bay/freycinet Park/Wineglass Bay and perhaps stay somewhere along the way instead of going back to Launceston since we have to make our way down to Kettering Ferry terminal by 22 Nov. Did you go to Bruny Island? Not sure if our 2 nights there would be a little long now but accommodation booked already :p. Appreciate any suggestion and advice! Thanks for the really great blog. Will refer to it again!
Hi Fenni,
Great to know you love the post!
Additionally, I think Bruny Island is not worth it as most car rental companies do not allow one to drive there. It is also quite far out for the hassle of going and returning to mainland.
I had cover Cradle mountain in one day, and in my opinion, I think it is overrated, but still good to go as is the highlight of Tasmania.
Yes, you need not stay at Launceston if you prefer the countryside. Book early thou if you intend to stay at Wingeless Bay as I think is coming to theit holiday peak period in late Nov/Early Dec period.
Cheers! Have fun!
